Follow these easy steps to get your Electrolux ZDC 47100 W Dryer up and running in no time.

1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Remove the polystyrene block and any material from the drum. Slide out the polythene bag with the polystyrene stuffing. Pull off adhesive strips from inside the machine on top of the drum.

2. Positioning the Dryer

Place the dryer on a firm, level surface to minimize vibration and noise. Ensure the appliance is not pressing or standing on its electrical supply cable. If the dryer is placed on top of a washing machine, use the stacking kit (optional accessory).

3. Checking Electrical Connection

Ensure the electrical connections comply with the installation instructions. Any electrical work required should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.

4. Preparing for First Use

Place a few damp cloths inside the appliance and dry for 30 minutes to ensure the appliance is ready for use. This helps to remove any dust inside a brand-new tumble dryer.

5. Ventilation

Ensure the room is well-ventilated and the temperature does not exceed +35°C during drying. Air must circulate freely around the appliance. Do not obstruct the front ventilation grille or the air intake grilles at the back of the machine.

6. Water Reservoir

Empty the water reservoir after each drying cycle to ensure efficient operation. The pilot light 'Empty Tank' will remind you to perform this operation.
